Court Issues Arrest Warrant Against Shakib Al Hasan

A Dhaka court has taken stern action against Bangladesh cricket team’s veteran player Shakib Al Hasan, issuing an arrest warrant in a case of check bounce. Shakib has been entangled in several controversies in the past, despite his impressive cricketing record. His behavior on and off the field has frequently raised eyebrows.

Check Fraud Case Leads to Arrest Warrant

According to reports from Cricbuzz, a case was registered against Shakib and three other individuals for defaulting on a payment of approximately 4.14 crore Bangladesh Taka through two separate cheques. The payment was intended to settle a loan borrowed from a bank, but the cheques bounced due to insufficient funds in the account. Following this development, the Dhaka court issued an arrest warrant against Shakib.

No Official Response from Shakib or Authorities

As of now, there is no official statement on what the future holds for Shakib. This is not the first time Shakib has found himself in trouble due to his behavior. In the past, he has faced disciplinary action for using abusive language on the field.
