The vehicle verification process is aimed at improving air quality and ensuring that vehicles meet current regulations. The procedure has several goals, including reducing emissions and promoting a healthier environment.

Eligibility and Requirements

To undergo the verification process, car owners must not have any outstanding debts in tenure and endorsement, nor pending traffic fines. This ensures that the vehicle meets current regulations and can receive the necessary hologram.

Verification Schedule for the First Half of 2025

The verification schedule for the first half of 2025 is structured according to the color of the sticker and the number of vehicle license plates. The schedule is as follows:

  • January-February: Yellow sticker, license plates ending in 5 and 6.
  • February-March: Pink sticker, license plates ending in 7 and 8.
  • March-April: Red sticker, license plates ending in 3 and 4.
  • April-May: Green sticker, license plates ending in 1 and 2.
  • May-June: Blue sticker, license plates ending in 9 and 0.

Vehicle Verification Prices in 2025

The prices for vehicle verification in 2025 have been adjusted. The new prices for the different holograms are:

  • Hologram 00: $1,086 pesos.
  • Hologram 0: $543 pesos.
  • Hologram 1 and 2: $434 pesos.

Additional Fees for Late Verification

If the verification process is not completed on the established dates, a fine of $2,171 pesos will be imposed.

Process to Make an Appointment at Approved Verification Centers

To schedule an appointment at an approved verification center, car owners must follow these steps:

  1. Access the official Edomex portal.
  2. Select the “Vehicle verification appointments” option.
  3. Enter the code in the “Schedule appointment” section.
  4. Complete the form with car information.
  5. Choose the closest verification center or the one that best suits the owner’s needs.
  6. Select the desired date and time.
  7. Make the payment and print the receipt.

Verification Center Hours of Operation

The verification centers are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
