A decade-long wait came to an end as Nani Roma clinched his first stage victory at the Dakar 2025, securing the top spot in the tenth stage. Roma’s remarkable feat can be attributed to the short special stage that favored drivers who began behind their leaders, allowing him to make a strong claim for victory.

Fight for the General Classification

The tenth stage has shuffled the deck in the fight for the top spot in the general classification. Henk Lategan has regained the lead, edging out Yazeed Al-Rajhi by a narrow margin of 2:27. Al-Rajhi suffered a significant setback when he became stranded in the dunes for five minutes at kilometer 83.
