IND vs IRE: Can Team India Conquer Ireland’s Unpredictability Today

India Eyes Clean Sweep Against Ireland in Final ODI

The Indian cricket team is gearing up to face Ireland in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) match. With two consecutive wins under their belt, the team is eager to complete a clean sweep of the series.

The Indian batsmen have been in excellent form, and the team would like to maintain this momentum. Key players, including Pratika Rawal and captain Smriti Mandhana, have consistently provided a solid start to the team.

Rawal, who has scored three half-centuries in four innings, is eyeing a century. Her partnership with Mandhana has been instrumental in the team’s success, with their 156-run stand in the last match being their third century partnership in five innings.

Batsmen’s Excellent Performance Continues

Mandhana has carried forward her good form from the series against the West Indies. Harleen Deol also played a crucial inning of 89 runs in the previous match. The team’s highest ODI score of 370 runs for five wickets was a testament to the batsmen’s excellent performance.

In the absence of experienced players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues stepped up and scored a half-century in 28 balls. Rodrigues showed maturity and composure, which was essential for the team’s success.

Need to Improve Bowling

While the Indian batting has been impressive, the bowling department has been a cause for concern. The team failed to take wickets consistently in the last match, allowing Ireland to score 254 runs for seven wickets.

The absence of fast bowler Renuka Singh and the injury to Pooja Vastrakar have added to the team’s bowling woes. Deepti Sharma has been the only bright spot, taking four wickets in the series. However, other bowlers like Priya Mishra, Sayali Satghare, and Titas Sadhu need to step up their game.
