Women’s Premier League 2025 Venues Revealed
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the venues for the Women’s Premier League 2025 (WPL 2025). According to BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla, the tournament will be held in four cities: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Vadodara.
Change in Venue Discussion
Initially, there were discussions about hosting the tournament in only two cities. However, the BCCI’s Governing Council meeting on January 12 decided to expand the venues to four cities.
Match Schedule and Venues
Rajiv Shukla confirmed that the Mumbai leg matches will take place at Brabourne Stadium. The tournament will then move to Lucknow, followed by Bengaluru, and finally, the final match will be played at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
Previous Seasons’ Venues
In contrast to the upcoming season, the Women’s Premier League 2023 was held entirely in Mumbai, while the 2024 season took place in Delhi and Bengaluru.
