Jorge Prado’s New Chapter: Will He Dominate AMA Supercross

Spanish Motocross Champion Jorge Prado Embarks on a New Adventure in the United States

Jorge Prado, a four-time world champion in motocross, has begun a new chapter in his career in the United States. After competing in the Motocross World Championship, Prado decided to take on the challenge of the AMA Supercross in America. He made his debut in 2024 and showed promising results, even winning a qualifying round.

A New Team and Sponsor

To pursue his new adventure, Prado has made significant changes. He left his long-time team, KTM, and joined Kawasaki. He also parted ways with his traditional sponsor, Red Bull, and signed with Monster. Additionally, he changed his racing number to 70.

Explosiveness is Not Lost

Prado demonstrated his signature explosiveness in the main race at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. He made a strong start, achieving the ‘holeshot’ and taking the lead in the first corner. However, a fall later in the race caused him to lose positions. Despite this, Prado showed that he has the potential to achieve better results.

Aiming for the Top

At 24 years old, Prado is taking on a significant challenge. No Spanish rider has ever won in the AMA Supercross, but Prado is determined to change that. With time and experience, he aspires to reach the highest level of competition.
