Mysterious Break-In Rocks Malaga Leaving Authorities Baffled and Searching

The Paris Olympic Games have brought breaking to the forefront, a sport that was previously excluded from the Olympic program for 2028. Despite this setback, the underground culture of breaking continues to thrive, with Los Angeles, the host city of the next Olympics, being a hub for this vibrant community.

One club that has been at the forefront of this movement is Málaga Breaking, a reference club on the Costa del Sol, Málaga. Founded 14 years ago, the club has achieved numerous podiums in all categories, including Kids, Youth, Female Professional, and Male Professional. Their success has earned them a spot in the “Málaga Compete” program of the Sports Area of the Malaga Provincial Council.

A Space for Emerging Artists and Athletes

Alejandro Morales, the club’s coordinator, emphasizes the importance of providing a space for both emerging artists and athletes to share their knowledge and take their art to the maximum exponent. “In ‘El Taller’, as we call the center we have enabled in the city, we give the opportunity to learn new techniques and skills, perfect the style and go as far as you want to go with it,” he explains.

The club’s bases encourage breaking as a tool of tolerance, respect, and social inclusion, promoting a healthy sports alternative that improves the quality of life of young people, increases self-esteem, and empowers individuals to develop their potential.

A Bright Future Ahead

In 2025, Málaga Breaking aims to continue offering the best of themselves to achieve objectives at a national and international level, providing a healthy alternative for boys, girls, and young people to express themselves. Morales concludes, “We want to continue to be a reference point for breaking in Spain and to help develop the sport, promoting values such as respect, tolerance, and social inclusion.”
