The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has resulted in significant losses for Russia, with the number of casualties surpassing 800,000 soldiers. This staggering figure is a testament to the high cost of the territorial gains made by Russia in the western part of the occupied country.
Breakdown of Russian Losses
The Ukrainian General Staff has reported that Russia has lost 800,010 soldiers in combat, with an increase of 1,970 in the last 24 hours. In addition to human losses, Russia has also suffered significant damage to its military equipment.
A total of 9,710 Russian tanks have been destroyed in combat, with 10 of these losses reported recently. Furthermore, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 20,189 armored vehicles, including troop transports and combat vehicles, with 25 additional losses in recent days.
Russia has also lost 21,710 artillery systems, 1,260 multiple rocket launcher systems, 1,038 air defense systems, and 21,708 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with an increase of 83 drones in the last 24 hours.
Air Force and Naval Losses
The Russian air force has lost 369 aircraft during the conflict, 331 helicopters, and 3,014 cruise missiles. Ukrainian forces have also sunk or destroyed 28 enemy navy vessels, including a Russian submarine.
In addition to these losses, Russia has also suffered damage to its logistics and special equipment, including 33,226 vehicles and 3,681 parts of special equipment, such as communication systems and radars.
