The Discovery of the Crime
The crime was first discovered on July 18 when police officers on patrol in Villa Española spotted two men carrying a suitcase on Fray Manuel de Ubeda. Upon searching the men and inspecting the suitcase, they found the body of a 49-year-old man who had been killed with a blow to the head.
The victim was killed inside a drug den in La Unión, located just a few blocks from where the body was found. The individuals carrying the suitcase were heading towards a garbage container when they were seen by the police.
