Clifford has reported receiving harassing messages on social media, including threats against her family, daughter, and pets. The campaign’s promoter, Dwayne Crawford, has warned, “It’s not safe for her family and pets.” The goal is to raise $1 million to enable Clifford to relocate with her family to a safe location.
Payment Ruse Leads to Conviction
In 2016, Trump was secretly paid $130,000 to persuade Clifford to remain silent about an affair they allegedly had a decade prior. The payment was disguised as legal fees. On May 30, Trump was found guilty in a New York court of forgery, becoming the first former U.S. president to be convicted of a criminal offense.

The campaign’s GoFundMe portal aims to provide financial support to enable Clifford to take action against those threatening her family.
