Pau Gasol Academy by Santander Speeds Ahead of Grand Finale with Jusuf Nurkic Guest Appearance
The Pau Gasol Academy by Santander is accelerating towards its grand finale, which will feature NBA star Jusuf Nurkic as a guest. This marks another significant milestone for the enormous initiative of the Spanish basketball legend, transcending beyond sport.
Pau Gasol was present alongside his youngsters, visiting participants of the Rising Stars program, who later experienced a "masterclass" with legendary coach Phil Handy, a former assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers.
In addition, the Rising Stars also attended the Academies Day, where various representation agencies provided guidance and accompanied players seeking sports scholarships to continue their sporting careers.
The day didn’t stop there, as they also participated in a training session with INDIAN, where athletes learned about the importance of nutrition in improving performance. The day concluded with a talk from international referee Alberto Baena.
