The Minister of Mobility and Digital Transformation, María González Corral, celebrated today the extension of the transport bonuses that the Government will approve today in the Council of Ministers for the Unemployed and Youth, although she preferred to wait for their publication in the official State Gazette (BOE) for “careful analysis”. However, he clarified that the board has been investing in this matter “for many years” and mentioned, for example, on-demand transport, “one hundred percent free”, bonuses in urban or rail transport for at least eight years of returning travelers. “The board will continue its commitment in 2024, in this case to subsidize rural transport, demand and others,” he explained.

During her visit to the VA-223 highway construction in the town of Peñafiel, in Valladolid, the consultant emphasized that these measures are carried out “with the conviction that it is a public service that reaches all citizens,” just like transport to rural demand . He also explained that the demand for rail transport bonuses for at least eight years for returning travelers would be published “according to the ministry’s line”.
