The Minister of Industry, Trade and Employment, Mariano Veganzones, announced today that they are working to bring a business project to Castilla y León that would create around fifty jobs in the first phase.

Veganzones traveled to Ávila after attending an “important meeting” at the Ministry of Agriculture and Industry, as he explained, to “possibly acquire an important corporate investment”. Although he could not provide specific dates, he explained: “It is a project in the agri-food sector and if we succeed we will attract a company from Catalonia.”

Currently, as he indicated, “the company is studying whether to make this investment in Castile and León or in Castile-La Mancha, and the truth is that it is a competition that, in my opinion, ends with a ‘photo finish’ “We are both communities that make the most of any help we can offer.”

He also pointed out that this company would create between 40 and 50 jobs in the first phase, but did not reveal in which province it could be established.
