PSG signings: 200 million for Luis Enrique’s new attack

PSG enters a month of July full of expectations and challenges, with the task of strengthening its squad in search of the long-awaited Champions League title. In addition to the five additions already announced and the arrival of coach Luis Enrique, the Parisian club must define its team for next season and the priority is to bring in new forwards.

Although they have already invested more than 105 million euros in the current transfer market, shelling out 60 million for Ugarte and 50 million for Lucas Hernández, PSG has enough liquidity to try to sign two top-tier strikers.

As reported le parisien, PSG has a budget of 200 million euros to reinforce its line of attack. However, to comply with the new Financial Fair Play, the club will have to sell some assets. The departures of Messi and Ramos, whose salaries were significant within the salary structure, have eased the bills of the brand new Ligue 1 champion, who seeks to form a fearsome team in the offensive zone, taking into account that it has already been reinforced in defense with Skriniar and Lucas Hernandez.

The front is the priority

The priority at the moment is to sign Bernardo Silva, Manchester City’s right winger who can also play in midfield. Silva is the wish of Luis Campos, who already signed him for Monaco when he was an unknown footballer at Benfica. The Portuguese sports director and Luis Enrique want him to play from the right wing, in an offensive sector that is still not sure if Kylian Mbappé will occupy the left winger position.

PSG dreams of reuniting the Frenchman with Bernardo Silva and adding a striker, who could be Harry Kane. Nasser Al Khelaïfi traveled to London this week and met with the English player’s entourage, who, despite the constant refusals of his club, Tottenham, to sell him, prioritizes Bayern. Although Kane has one year left on his contract, the operation would mean an economic effort for the Parisians, which could even amount to 120 million euros, showing the difficulty in negotiating with Daniel Levy.
