The second beta of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS Sonoma is here

Apple today made available to developers the second betas of the next updates of the iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10 and macOS Sonoma for them to try.

The software will arrive two weeks after the release of the first betas after the WWDC keynote.

On iOS and iPadOS, developers can opt into betas by opening the Settings app, going to the Software Updates section, tapping the “Beta Updates” option, and enabling the iOS 16 Developer Beta.

iOS 17 introduces a new custom look and feel for each caller, lets you see a live transcript of a message someone is leaving in voicemail, offers a new screen layout when loading in landscape, adds interactive widgets, and more.

watchOS 10 introduces redesigned apps that give you more information at a glance, plus new ways to quickly browse and access content. macOS Sonoma brings new features in widgets, screensavers, Safari, video calling and more.
