Max Verstappen took victory at the Monaco GP. The Dutchman was once again unrivaled and dominated the race from pole position to the checkered flag, even avoiding the heavy rain that fell during part of the race. Fernando Alonso finished behind the Red Bull driver, who also held second position from the grid, as did Esteban Ocon, who closed the podium in the Principality. Sainz finished eighth.
