Huawei Children’s Watch 5 arrives with offline positioning and Artificial Intelligence

Huawei held an event in China to present its news for this summer. Among the revelations is a new model of children’s smart watch that comes prepared to accompany the little ones on all their adventures.
The new Children’s Watch 5 supports offline positioning, which means that parents can know the location of the child, even if the child is in an area with no coverage or poor network.
The model also comes equipped with GPS that allows knowing the location of the little one in real time, in addition to the fact that the integrated Artificial Intelligence technology “teaches” the device which places the little one visits most frequently.
The new children’s smartwatch can be paired with Android, iOS and HarmonyOS smartphones, and also includes several sports modes to encourage the little one to exercise.
The new smartwatch for children has a robust battery
The Chinese brand highlights the IPX8 certification of the model for resistance to dust and water, which allows the watch to be used in swimming pools. The model also has 4G support so it is possible to make video calls.
The Huawei Children’s Watch 5 comes equipped with a robust 800 mAh battery so that autonomy does not fail at crucial moments. It also has a class mode that allows the child not to be distracted during school hours.
At the moment, the model is available in the Chinese market for an approximate cost of 90 euros. Unfortunately, the brand has not provided information on its availability worldwide.
