The release date of Ballerina was officially set for summer 2024. Franchise spin off John Wick carried by Keanu Reeves, Ballerina stage Ana de Armas as Rooney, a ballerina previously portrayed by Unity Phelan In Chapter 3 – Parabellum, determined to hunt down those who murdered her family. The spin-off takes place between the events of Chapter 3 and 4, the latter of which recently received very positive reviews and had a record-breaking opening weekend for the franchise.
While the success of John Wick: Chapter 4 continues at the box office, the release date of Ballerina has been officially revealed. According to Deadline, the film worn by Ana de Armas will make its first steps in cinemas on June 5, 2024. Keanu Reeves and Ian McShane will reprise their respective roles.

John Wick: The Future of the Franchise
John Wick will also be the subject of a spin-off series titled The Continentalwhich will be set in the 1970s at the Hitmen’s Haven and is set to premiere on peacock current 2023. A film about which we know absolutely nothing about John Wick is in preparation, as the producer was able to reveal Erica Lee. The Lionsgate franchise is hoping for a John Wick: Chapter 5 and an sequel to Ballerina. It remains to be seen how these spin-offs will perform without Keanu Reeves headlining. However, with Ana de Armasa true rising star in Hollywood, awarded at the Oscars for her performance in Blonde hair, no doubt that John Wick found his female alter ego.
