Puntacana Polo Club continues to strengthen its support for proposals that contribute to the development of children, this time with the “V National Polo Tournament Save the Children – Gulf Cup” dedicated to education
The competition will take place from March 29 to April 8, at Puntacana Resort & Club, this fifth version will be dedicated to the polo players Federico Ramos, Nicolás Seliman, Víctor (Vitin) Hernández and Alejandro Tirado, for their career and contributions to this sport. .
As every year, the most important teams in the country will participate in the Save the Children National Polo Tournament – Gulf Cup, who will play to promote the rights of children in the Dominican Republic, while the funds raised will be directed to the Literacy and Emerging Mathematics implemented in vulnerable communities of Elías Piña, El Seibo, San Pedro de Macorís and La Altagracia, focused on basic education and the development of reading and comprehension skills in children from first to fourth grade, said Juan Tomas Diaz, president of Save the Children.
The teams that will be participating are: on March 29 at 3:30 in the afternoon, La Patrona vs La Carmela, at 4:30 Barceló Imperial vs Rancho La Americana.
On March 31 at 3:30 Barceló Imperial vs Cayacoa/La Camela and at 4:30 Puntacana/La Bienvenida vs La Patrona.
On April 2 at 3:30 Cayacoa/La Carmela vs La Americana and at 4:30 Puntacana/La Bienvenida vs Barceló Imperial.
April 4 at 3:30 the teams La Patrona vs Barceló Imperial will compete and at 4:30 Puntacana/La Bienvenida vs Rancho La Americana.
