After making a name for herself in movies, Lara Dutta is now rocking OTT. The character of Lara Dutta was much loved in the web series called ‘Hiccups and Hukcups’. The actress had spoken with Brute India a while ago, in which she told that once her daughter had asked her such a question, upon hearing which she almost had a heart attack. Lara Dutta’s daughter’s name is Saira and she Lara said that once her daughter asked her a question about divorce, which she was surprised to hear.
In a conversation with Brute India, Lara Dutta said, “Mahesh had introduced Saira to the American sitcom Friends at the age of four. Now it has become Saira’s favorite show. At the age of four, a One day my daughter came up to me and asked me that mom, oh, I’m living. This is my house, this is your house and I’m divorced. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. I said, what do you say? Who told you this? “Who is divorced? Then he told me that when two people are in a bad marriage, they are not able to get involved, so they both start living apart. That means divorce.”
Lara further said, “I told Saira, who told you this? She said daddy. I called Mahesh and told him why did you tell him this about the divorce, what is it after all?” Mahesh started laughing on the phone. She said we were watching Friends and she wanted to know why Ross got married three times? I asked Mahesh, will you tell him what divorce means? Are we that kind of parent?”
