Twitter Blue is the name given to the monthly subscription of the Twitter platform that gives premium access to the new features of the social network. This service offered by the platform to those who want to pay for it in order to access exclusive advantages that free users of the social network do not have. This does not mean that the social network will stop being freesimply that there will be a paid version where users will benefit from more advantages.
Now Twitter has relaunched a new subscription system which includes the verification system of the well-known blue badge, after several postponements by Elon Muskowner since October of the company.
Subscriptions will cost $8 a month or $11 a month on iOS devices (Apple’s operating system used on the iPhone) to gain access to exclusive subscriber features, including the Blue Badge.

Twitter Blue has gold, gray and blue badges
The social network has added a review step before applying a blue check mark to an account to combat phishing. With the relaunch of Twitter’s subscription offer, lThe platform will include new colors, introducing gold checkmarks for businesses and, soon, gray checkmarks for government and all other blue accounts.
Because Twitter is still testing this feature, the company advised that accounts that change their username, display name, or profile photo will lose their blue verification until Twitter reviews and manually verifies their account again.
On the other hand, subscribers will be able to edit their tweets, upload 1080p videos, and have access to reading mode, along with their blue checkmarks. They will also access Twitter with less advertising, which will improve their browsing experience.
