The lawsuit between Ripple Labs and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is slowly coming to an end. If everything goes according to plan, the parties will hear the judge’s verdict before or on March 31, 2023. Lawyer Jeremy Hogan predicts 50.12 percent chance of victory for Ripple Labs.
Strange percentages
In a YouTube video of December 10, Hogan makes his predictions about the possible outcome of the lawsuit. The chance of a victory for Ripple Labs is therefore 50.12 percent, according to the lawyer. He also sees a 29.88 percent chance of a victory for the SEC. However, he adds that if the SEC wins, Ripple Labs also takes a small win.
In addition, he sees a 19.11 percent chance of a tie between Ripple Labs and the SEC. Finally, there is a 5 to 7 percent chance of an unexpected judgment from the court. “In other words, there’s a 110 percent chance that something will happen soon,” Hogan said on YouTube. “When do we get the results? My friend and colleague James Filan says it happens on or before March 31, 2023. If that’s what he says, then that’s what it is,” Hogan continued.
