SB certifies its staff on money laundering and crimes

To promote the preparation of its technical personnel, the Superintendency of Banks (SB) began a certification program aimed at 30 collaborators with recognized certifying agencies in the area of ​​money laundering and other financial crimes prevention.

Participants will exhaust the thematic agendas required to obtain the Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA) Certification, granted by the Financial & International Business Association (FIBA), and the Anti-Money Laundering Specialist Certification (CAMS), from the Association of Specialists Certificates in Anti-Money Laundering (ACAMS).

FIBA’s internationally recognized AMLCA certification is designed for mid-level compliance officers in the financial and non-financial sectors. Its content is based on international best practices and standards.
