The Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday denied attacking kyiv on Tuesday, saying the damage in the Ukrainian capital was caused by Ukrainian air defense.
"All the destruction in the residential areas of the Ukrainian capital (…) is the direct result of the fall and self-destruction of anti-aircraft missiles launched by the Ukrainian forces"the Russian ministry said in a statement.
On the other hand, the ministry assured that Russia destroyed all the objectives that it had set in Ukraine on Tuesday.
"The goal was met, all missiles hit the precisely identified targets, all these sites were destroyed"said the ministry, assuring that it had targeted the "Ukraine’s military command system and related energy facilities".
