Scariolo never tires of winning: he repeats in the Italian Super Cup

Sergio Scariolo never tires of winning. After winning the Eurobasket with Spainthe Italian returned to club competition and to his team, Virtus Bologna, who suffered against a tough opponent like Dinamo Sassari, but survived thanks to a Jordan Mickey jump shot and won the Italian Super Cup, the third in the club’s history, by beating Piero Bucchi’s team by a tight 69-72.

Semi Ojeleye was chosen Best Player of the Italian Super Cup after being decisive in the semi-final against Olimpia Milano.

On behalf of Dinamo Sassari, Chinanu Onuaku was the most outstanding player with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in a great series of shots: 6 of 7 shots of 2 and six free throws without failure. Eimantas Bendzius also stood out (15 points and 7 rebounds).
