Bollywood director Ayan Mukerji has confirmed plans for a spin-off based on the Shah Rukh Khan character from Brahmastra.
Since the release of Brahmastra, the character of SRK has become one of the most beloved characters in film. Fans found his cameo too short and want more. He even went so far that fans started a petition to talk Ayan into a spinoff. Ayan recently commented on this thought in an interview.
“Before the fans came up with this idea, we as a team were already working on this idea. When we had the recordings in 2019, we said the exact same thing on set. We have to do something about it. We have to go back to the beginning of this scientist.”
He added: “So we, my assistants and I, are thinking the same thing. So I guess my answer to the derived question is that we’re already thinking about it. We listened to everything and planned our next steps.”
