For the first time in its history, adidas, the German clothing company that dresses the two most popular teams in the country, decided to present a joint launch of the new alternative jerseys of River Plate and Boca Juniors.
Under the slogans “De River de Corazón” and “Boca I carry you in my soul”, the two most successful clubs in Argentina already have their new alternative shirts for the 2022/2023 season, Inspired by iconic designs and gear from the ’80s and ’90s.
On the side of the Núñez club, the new alternate clothing is inspired by the mythical red jacket of the multi-champion team of 1986, this time with a modern reversal. On the back of the neck it presents the institutional claim Grandeza.
That campus is one of the most remembered of the institution of Núñez, since under the technical management of Bambino Veira achieved its first Copa Libertadores of its history and the only International Cup, by beating Romania’s Steaua Bucharest in the definition in Japan.
Boca’s alternative jersey, meanwhile, features a white base with an original blue and gold stripe on the chest, and the presence of the iconic shield of the four stars with the acronym CABJ embroidered in the heart.
Within this photographic and video production appear both male and female players from both professional squads of the two clubs: Amancay Urbani, Melanie Morán (Boca), Martina Del Trecco, Sofia Dominguez (River), Darío Benedetto, Frank Fabra and Marcos Rojo (Boca) and Esequiel Barco, Agustín Palavecino and Santiago Simón (River).
These new alternative shirts were made with 100% recycled materials. They are already on sale in the adidas app and on its official site exclusively for adiClub members. Boca’s can also be found at Bitega Xeneize and Bocashop, while River’s is sold at Tienda River.
