Jeddah: Notice to residents before demolition of 12 more slums

Jeddah: Notices were issued to residents before the demolition of 12 more slums in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

According to the details, the Jeddah Governorate’s Katchi Abadi Committee in Saudi Arabia has announced that the work of removing 12 Katchi Abadis is being resumed.

The committee said that the 12 mahallas which are being removed after Eid are: Kg 14 (North) is included.

The committee has started giving notices to the residents of slums in these areas. During Ramadan, the demolition of slums in Jeddah was suspended.

Can company employee residency be converted to individual residency?

It may be recalled that the removal of 22 slums in Jeddah was completed before Ramadan. A spokesman for the Jeddah Municipality had said that more than 60 neighborhoods in Jeddah would be demolished.

According to the Jeddah Municipality, accommodation will be provided to all Saudi citizens in the slums, and old-fashioned neighborhoods will be modernized.
