The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Manacor will host a tournament of the ‘World Padel Tour’ circuit between May 23 and 29which aims to bring together in Mallorca professionals of this sport such as Carolina Navarro, the Sánchez-Alayeto sisters, Miguel Lamperti or Jon Sanz, among others.
The sports complex of the Rafa Nadal academy will host one of the tests of this circuit under the name of ‘TAU Cerámica Mallorca Challenger’which is sponsored by the Fundació Mallorca Turisme and the Govern, as reported by the school in a statement.
For this event, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar will place the center court in the heart of the facility with a capacity for more than 1,200 spectators. “A luxury setting to once again enjoy the best padel in the world in Mallorca”, the academy has indicated.
In the men’s draw, the participation of players such as Miguel Lamperti, Jon Sanz, Javier Garrido, ‘Coki’ Nieto and Agustín Gómez Silingowhile in the feminine they could play Carolina Navarro, the Sánchez-Alayeto sisters, Lucía Sainz, Marta Ortega and Bea Gonzálezwhich “will guarantee a top-level sporting event”.
On the other hand, This Friday at 10:00 a.m. the official presentation of the tournament will take place at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar with a Pro-Am –tournament between professional and amateur players– in which Carolina Navarro, the Sánchez-Alayeto sisters, Lucía Sainz, Bea González, Koki Nieto, Javi Garrido, along with other well-known faces, will participate.
