It is already tomorrow, March 17, that Xiaomi will present more models of its new Redmi K50 series that comes with top specifications for all tastes.
Now the Chinese brand has officially confirmed the 120-watt fast charge that puts the battery at 100% in just 19 minutes. But there are more surprises.
Xiaomi Redmi K50 with “hundred watts per second charge”
It is tomorrow, March 17, that Xiaomi will officially present the new models of the Redmi K50 series. After revealing the K50 Gaming Edition, expectations are high and it seems the brand will not disappoint fans.
Now, in its promotion campaign for the new models, it has revealed that the series will support 120W fast charging. Xiaomi guarantees that the new terminals will fully charge the battery in just 19 minutes and that the “charge will be one hundred watts per second.”
This charging time is achieved thanks to the presence of the Surge P1 chip which was developed with the 120W single cell solution and 4:1 charge pump, and the heat loss was reduced by approximately 30%.
However, it was not clear if all the models that will be presented will have this loading speed. So we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to confirm who the lucky winners were.
Xiaomi has one more surprise in the Redmi K50 series for photography fans
But the brand did not stop there and made another revelation. The Redmi K50 series will also feature optical image stabilization in the rear camera setup, which should win over photography fans.
This is an especially useful specification for removing all the noise in the image capture, caused by the instability of the user’s hands when taking the picture. It is also very useful to improve the image of sensors with higher resolution.
Again, it’s not clear if all new models will have this feature.
What we already know about the Redmi K50 series
Remember that tomorrow Xiaomi will officially present three new models: Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro+ that will arrive equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, MediaTek Dimensity 8100 and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processors, respectively.
However, the brand has already confirmed that the series will have dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Double Gold, in the audio area. Connectivity will be ensured by the presence of Wi-Fi 6, dual frequency GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 5.3.
Otherwise, the new K50 series is also expected to be equipped with displays produced by Samsung with a resolution of 2K.
