Apparently, Microsoft will release the Surface 5 later this year. And the new series will not only come in two sizes, but also in variants with two different processors.
According to information now revealed, the Surface 5 will arrive with 13.5 and 15 inches and with Intel and AMD chips.

In addition, during this year we will be able to meet two new models of Surface. According to information now spread on the Web, the new Microsoft laptop will come in two different sizes with 13.5 and 15 inches.
But this is not the only news. It looks like the Windows giant will also be making two variants of the laptop available, one with an Intel processor and one with an AMD chip. But let’s get into more details.
The 13.5-inch Surface will come with a resolution of 2256×1504 pixels while the 15-inch variant will have 2496×1664 pixels. Both versions will offer a 120Hz PixelSense Flow refresh rate, Dolby Vision technology, and a 3:2 aspect ratio.
On the other hand, the 13.5-inch model will offer three variants with different chips, namely: Intel Core i5-1240P, Intel Core i7-1280P and AMD Ryzen 5 6680U. The 15-inch model will have two versions, one with AMD Ryzen 7 and one with Intel Core i7-1280P.
Microsoft Surface 5 with battery life between 19 and 21 hours
It should be noted that the AMD Ryzen-equipped models will offer up to 21 hours of battery life, while the Intel versions will stick to 19 hours of battery life.
The two models will arrive with 8, 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and the internal storage will offer 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB SSDs.
Otherwise, connectivity will be ensured by Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth v5.1, Thunderbolt 4, USB connections and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There is no information yet on the expected date for its launch, as well as the prices of all these variants are kept a secret from the gods.
