Red Magic 7 comes with a standalone gaming chip
As the official launch date, set for February 17, approaches, Nubia has been revealing on the web world some specifications that we can expect to find in the Red Magic 7 terminal.
And if the rumors already anticipated that we are facing one of the most powerful smartphones of the moment, these announcements have reinforced this idea. Now, the brand has revealed that the terminal will include an independent game chip called Red Core 1.
According to the brand, the chip was developed in partnership with JD Esports and Awinic and will be the engine of various hardware features, especially aimed at the gaming area, which are included in the new terminal.
For example, the Red Core 1 chip will allow gaming keys to have an optimized millisecond response time, as well as a 500Hz touch response rate and an improved algorithm.
The same chip also brings with it an optimization of the haptic part, allowing the vibration intensity to be increased by 160%. On the other hand, the Red Core 1 chip will also help optimize the speakers, depending on the scenario in which the game is played. All automatically, of course.
According to the brand, the aforementioned chip will also be “wrapped” with RGB lighting, present on the rear panel of the terminal. All because it will intelligently manage the 16.8 million lighting effects also depending on what happens in each game scene.
Specifications expected in Red Magic 7
So far, several specifications of the Red Magic 7 have been advanced. In this sense, the terminal is expected to have a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD + resolution and a super refresh rate of 165 Hz. It will have a reader built-in fingerprint.
At the controls of the terminal will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with up to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. As if this were not enough, it can also include a 5000 mAh battery with support for 165-watt fast charging.
Otherwise, it will run Android 12 OS and have a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
It should be available in the Chinese market and there is still no confirmation on a global launch of this terminal.
