We already knew that Google makes smart speakers and thermostats, but what we didn’t realize is that they also created a smart lamp called “dLight”.
Now, Ben Gold shared a photo of the device from Google. At first glance, it looks like a lamp with a clean and simple design, nothing special.
The lamp can be oriented up or down and apparently it is designed that way to provide good lighting during video conferences.
It is also said to have google assistant logoso presumably it has Google Assistant support.
If you liked the lamp, we have bad news: it’s not a lamp that we can buy, but apparently it’s just for employees.
It’s a shame, because some of us would love to get our hands on it, but who knows, maybe if there’s enough demand, Google might finally reconsider making it available to other buyers.
