The next cheap iPhone could be officially presented on March 8 by Apple. In fact, the Apple iPhone SE 3 has made several headlines due to the successive leaks of information spread over the Internet in recent weeks.
We already have the certification of the new iPhone in Europe. More specifically, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), leaving little doubt about the existence of the third generation of cheap iPhone, as well as about the imminence of its presentation.
The third generation of iPhone SE could arrive on March 8
The product presentation will be scheduled for Apple’s next spring event, “Spring Forward” 2022. It seems that the Cupertino giant will continue to use the design and body of the iPhone 8 for its next budget phone.
We also keep an IPS LCD screen with the 4.7-inch Liquid Retina Display standard. That is, it will have essentially the same dimensions and general characteristics, including the central “Home” button with the Touch ID sensor.
More recently, we have seen product certification in Europe, with models A2595, A2783 and A2784 already included in the EEC database. These will be the models that will reach the shelves of the different European markets, including Portugal.
The improvements will be inside the Apple iPhone SE 3

The main improvements of this iPhone with a 4.7-inch screen will be inside. More specifically, the Apple A15 Bionic processor that currently equips the iPhone 13. In addition, we have improvements in the quality of the cameras.
By the way, it is here that we will also have good news with a new (only) 12 MP camera, as well as a renewed camera for selfies and video calls. On the other hand, we have the same 1,820 mAh capacity battery.
The best of all? We have a maintenance price for this iPhone. Thus, in Portugal it should start at €499, like the 2020 model. Instead, in its country of origin (USA), the model will be launched for $399.
In short, we will have the first cheap iPhone with support for 5G networks, with a better processor, a new camera and improvements in autonomy thanks to the efficiency of the chipset and iOS software.
