January 2022 brought the first smartphones equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor to the market. This was obviously reflected in the ranking of the most powerful Android devices on the AnTuTu platform.
After introducing us to the most powerful models for the Chinese market, AnTuTu now reveals the ones that lead the world market. A nuance that brings several changes compared to what we have previously reported.
Xiaomi 12 Pro is the most powerful Android smartphone of the moment
During the first month of the year there were several smartphones analyzed by this platform and the one that stood out above the others was the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The new top of the range of the Chinese company accumulated 979,499 points.

It’s important to note that the scores in this list reflect the average that each of these devices achieved on AnTuTu and not their maximum. According to the platform, this offers a more objective perception of the potential of the listed products.
In second place is Nubia Red Magic 6 with a score of 858,275 points. In third place is the ASUS ROG Phone 5s Pro with 835,796 points.
To close the AnTuTu top-5 of January 2022 we have the Nubia Red Magic 6R and the Realme GT. These devices managed to earn 825,719 points and 823,383 points respectively.
As expected, the smartphone that leads this table is equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This distinction demonstrates the potential of Qualcomm’s new processor, taking off from the others present in this hierarchy.
Even so, who dominates the table of the most powerful smartphones on the market is the Snapdragon 888. This prevails over the rest of the models, justified by the fact that we do not have more models on the market equipped with the new Qualcomm processor.
It is important to note the absence of the Motorola Moto X30, the first Android smartphone presented with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is because this device did not go through AnTuTu in January 2022.
