Eternals of Chloe Zhao introduced us to a gallery of new super-powered characters named the Eternals. Charged with protecting the Earth from deviants, these cosmic beings have divided and some of them have ganged up against Arishem, their progenitor, to prevent the destruction of the Earth which was to welcome the birth of a Celestial. Each Eternal has a special characteristic. Ikaris (Richard Madden) has the power of a Superman, Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) can create weapons from anything, Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) has a speed worthy of Flash…
Among these characters, Eternals highlighted two of them: Thena (Angelina Jolie)a powerful warrior and Gilgamesh (Don Lee), his protector. During the movie, Gilgamesh dies during a lightning attack by the Deviants. However, any Eternal is an immortal cosmic being and can be recreated on demand by Arishem. All in all, in the event of an Eternals 2, we might review Ikaris (Richard Madden) and Gilgamesh.
A few rumors have just started recently and suggest the return of two Eternals in future MCU projects. heroic hollywood reports that Ikaris could appear in the Moon Knight of Disney+which will come out at the end March while what allkpop reports that Gilgamesh will shoot this summer to appear in a Marvel project whose name has not leaked. However, a possibility emerges: the series Loki by Kate Herron, whose second season will go into production this summer. Given the fact that the series around the God of Mischief will explore the multiverse more deeply, it is not impossible that the Eternal crosses his path at the bend of a cameo.
