The year 2022 promises to be fruitful for Apple when it comes to launching new products. And next fall, the Cupertino-based manufacturer may even release the “widest range” of products in memory.
This is confirmed by the journalist Mark Gurman, from Bloomberg. In his latest edition of the “Power On” newsletter, he details those products that Apple will be working on to launch later in the year.
Not surprisingly, the list begins with four new iPhone. The big change is that the iPhone 14 mini can be replaced by the iPhone 14 Max. The rest of the lineup should stay with the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
As for tablets, a new entry-level iPad is expected, but also a new iPad Pro. Along with the Apple Watch, a new SE model (cheaper) and a more robust variant of the smart watch may also arrive. By that time, the new generation of AirPods Pro may also arrive.
New Mac Pro expected in 2022
As for computers, we may see the launch of a new entry-level MacBook Pro and a redesigned iMac with a larger screen. At that time, the new Mac Pro could also arrive, as well as the long-awaited redesigned MacBook Air.
Between March and April, the source says that Apple will also be preparing launches. These could be the much talked about iPhone SE with 5G, an iPad Air with A15 Bionic processor, and there’s a chance one of the Macs will arrive sooner.
On top of all this, Apple plans to release its VR/AR headset in 2022. But that’s the most uncertain product when it comes to a possible release this year.
In any case, we should look at these statements with ‘a pinch of salt’.
