From the outset, the launch of two versions of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is confirmed: one with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other with Exynos 2200. The first will be exclusive to the markets of China, South Korea and the United States, while the second will be directed to international markets.
Internally we will continue to have 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM. As for internal storage, the schemes will return from 128 GB and can go up to 1 TB in the most expensive version of the smartphone.
The screen of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X. It will feature Quad-HD+ resolution, 120Hz variable refresh rate, HDR 10+, and a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits.
The same camera with superior results
On paper, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra inherits the camera from its predecessor. In fact, we have a 108 MP main lens, a 12 MP wide angle, a 10 MP telephoto lens and a 10 MP periscope with 10x optical zoom.
Despite the fact that it uses the same hardware, the software tricks applied to this equipment should significantly increase the quality of the images captured. Whether they will be as superior as various sources have claimed remains to be seen.
Support for the S Pen is also confirmed, now even more powerful than its predecessors. According to the shared image, it will have a latency of only 2.8ms.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 45W fast charge
The last big confirmed thing has to do with the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s battery charging speeds. Indeed, a speed of 45 W will be present to power a 5000 mAh cell.
Although it is still far from the offers of various Chinese brands, this is, in fact, an increase in the charging speeds of the Korean top of the range. Until now, the brand has been limited to charging at 25 W.
