The last few weeks have been intense in terms of rumors and leaks about Samsung’s next high-end smartphones. And finally the Chinese manufacturer made it public.
In an official blog post, TM Roh, president of Samsung Electronics, made a statement that stands out. The executive confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked will happen next month February, although still without confirming the day.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra confirmed with “Note” design
“At the Unpacked event in February 2022, we will introduce the most ‘remarkable’ S-series device we have ever created,” said the executive. And it goes further by stating that “the next generation of the Galaxy S is already here, and brings together the best experiences of our Samsung Galaxy in one definitive device”.
These statements confirm what all the leaks indicate. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be influenced by the Note line, which Samsung has not released since 2020 and will therefore return.
This is because, remember, everything indicates that this smartphone abandons the design of the S21 Ultra to give way to an appearance more similar to that of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In addition, it will have space to incorporate the S Pen internally.
The executive also mentions: “You are ready for the ultimate Ultra experience.” This ends up confirming that the smartphone will be called S22 Ultra, and not S22 Note as has been indicated in some rumors.
Without a doubt, this will be the most powerful smartphone ever released by Samsung, and expectations are quite high. Judging by the leaks, this event will take place on February 9.
