Apparently, Xiaomi will even go ahead with the launch of its super smartphone 12 Ultra which will come with higher performance and unbeatable image capture arguments.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra could hit the market in February
Closing the year 2021, the Chinese brand presented its new top-of-the-range series, revealing at the time the Xiaomi 12, 12X and 12 Pro models. After this presentation, rumors began to emerge that the Chinese manufacturer could postpone the reveal of the 12 Ultra to focus all its efforts on another top terminal, the Xiaomi Mix 5.
But it seems that after all, Xiaomi will even go ahead with the launch of the super smartphone 12 Ultra that brings with it the best specifications and performance that is expected to be unbeatable. Apparently, the model will reach the Chinese market in mid-February, at the earliest.
However, more images of the rear panel of the device were released confirming the peculiar design of the camera setup. As we can see, all the included sensors are housed in a circular module, which is not usual to see.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra could be the first terminal of the brand with Leica certification
According to the information released so far, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra could be equipped with a triple camera system along with an ultra telephoto solution.
Rumors are also circulating that Xiaomi could be collaborating with Leica and that the 12 Ultra model will be the first terminal to show the certification of the renowned photography brand. It is recalled that Leica has already established a partnership with Huawei and that the smartphones resulting from this duo are considered the best in imaging, in the DxOMark ranking.
Specifications expected in Xiaomi 12 Ultra
As we have already mentioned, the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra can integrate a triple main camera system combined with an ultra telephoto solution. The main sensor of the terminal can be the Samsung GN5 of 50 megapixels, complemented by another sensor of 48 megapixels and another or two also with a resolution of 50 megapixels, each one.
Some of the sensors present are also expected to support 5x and 10x optical zoom.
The 12 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and will be equipped with a 6.7-inch display with Quad HD+ resolution, support for 120W fast charging, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
