OPPO is preparing to launch its flagship Find X5 series this coming February in China and worldwide in March.
And now it has been revealed that the models in this series will integrate the latest top processors on the market: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MediaTek Dimensity 9000. Learn all the details below.
OPPO Find X5 with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Find X5 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
It is already in the next month of February that OPPO will launch the top Find X5 series in China. Apparently, the brand will launch two new models, Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, immediately after the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 1 this year. Then, in March, the brand will make these terminals available on the global market.
With the release dates revealed, here’s more on what specs each model will have. It has now been revealed that OPPO will include the latest two top processors on the market, and the Find X5 Pro will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at the controls.
But the big news is that the Find X5 will be the first terminal on the market with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000. Remember that OPPO usually equips its best smartphones with Qualcomm processors, but it seems that this time it will try something different, possibly motivated by the good results obtained by this processor in benchmarking tests.
Specifications expected on OPPO Find X5

However, the leaker Digital Chat Station has revealed the main specifications that OPPO’s Find X5 will bring. According to the well-known leaker, the model will feature a triple rear camera setup that includes two 50-megapixel sensors, one of which is the main one, and another 13-megapixel sensor that can be telephoto.
The terminal is likely to be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 80-watt fast charging.
The model will also have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080p+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
And what can we expect to see on the OPPO Find X5 Pro?

And while both models share some features, the Find X5 Pro packs some more advanced specs, unsurprisingly. As we have already said, you will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at the controls.
It will also be equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but in this case the resolution is higher, registering 1440p +. According to more information released, it will have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In the triple rear camera setup, it will feature the same two 50-megapixel sensors and a third 13-megapixel sensor as the standard model. But in this case it is expected to include other arguments that do justice to the name Pro, although details have not yet been revealed.
Finally, it will have a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 80-watt fast charging and 50-watt wireless charging. Although OPPO and Realme are developing support for fast charging at 125 watts, it seems that it will not yet be in this top-of-the-range model where we will see this integrated function.
