Not long after its official unveiling on February 8, more images of Samsung’s long-awaited flagship, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, were revealed.
The new images reveal a rectangular design, very similar to the missing Galaxy Note series, and it even seems that the new premium smartphone integrates a compartment to store the S Pen.
More images of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra revealed
Already on February 8, Samsung will globally reveal, at an Unpacked event, its new Galaxy S22 premium series, which includes the top model Galaxy S22 Ultra. Now more images of the terminal have been revealed that show a rectangular design, similar to that of the Note series, and confirm previous rumors that already anticipated this possibility.
In the revealed images, the terminal is always accompanied by the S Pen and seems to integrate a slot to store the digital pen. It should be noted that previous information has advanced that the S Pen now has a latency of 2.8 ms, which means that it is faster and more precise.
Specs expected on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
The images are being released by leaker Ishan Agarwal and the MySmartPrice website, who have also unveiled some of the crucial specifications of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. So we can expect to see a quad rear camera setup, with a 108-megapixel main sensor, two 10-megapixel telephoto sensors with support for 3x and 10x optical zoom, plus a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
On the front, the Galaxy S22 will feature a 40-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls that will be housed in a small cutout at the top of the center. The screen will have a resolution of 2K (that is, 3088 x 1440 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In fact, the integrated LPTO technology allows the refresh rate to be changed from 1 Hz to 120 Hz.

After Samsung has already revealed its Exynos 2200 processor, it is expected that the model launched in Europe will have precisely this Samsung chip at the controls; in the remaining regions, the model may be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Otherwise, it will run Android 12 under OneUI 4.1 and be powered by a beefy 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
