Redmi K50 Pro will have this feature equal to Xiaomi 12 and Realme GT 2 Pro

Next month, Xiaomi will reveal its new Redmi K50 series, which includes a Pro model.

As the date approaches, more details about the terminals of the series are revealed and now it has been known that the Redmi K50 Pro was inspired by the Xiaomi 12 and the Realme GT 2 Pro and will integrate the same Sony IMX766 primary sensor.

Xiaomi is already preparing the presentation of the new K50 series that will take place in February. And, as it is a long-awaited range, online information on the specifications that all the models in the series will have multiplies.

This time the information focuses on the included main sensor. According to the Panda is Bald leaker, the Chinese brand will have chosen to integrate the Sony IMX766 sensor. And although the well-known leaker does not specify which model will have this function, previous information suggests that the Sony sensor will be present in the K50 Pro or K50 Pro Plus model, or even in both.

The IMX766 sensor is not exactly unknown, in fact the Chinese brand has already included it in the Xiaomi 12 model, as well as the Realme GT 2 Pro and the OPPO Find X3 Pro they also have this 50-megapixel sensor in their hardware. The inspiration apparently came from other high-end models.

It is also known that the Redmi K50 Pro model will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 4,700 mAh battery with support for 120-watt fast charging.

Meanwhile, images of the Redmi K50 Pro have surfaced online revealing not only what the rear camera module will look like, but also some details of the front design. So, as we can see, the model will have a single cutout at the top of the screen and rounded corners.

On the rear, the camera module is located in the upper left corner and houses three sensors, inside a square, with the LED flash immediately below.

On the other hand, Xiaomi has already confirmed that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor will be integrated into one of the models of the new Redmi K50 series. Remember that this chip uses TSMC’s 4nm process and that, in various benchmarking tests, it has already proven to be at the same level as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, having even surpassed it.
