The Xiaomi Redmi Note line will receive a model update for 2022 very soon in the form of new equipment such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S. In fact, this Android smartphone has already been confirmed by the Indian branch of the manufacturer.
Now it is a matter of time until its official presentation makes the product known, as well as the other versions. That is, we will have the cheapest version: Redmi Note 11S, the base version: Redmi Note 11, as well as a possible Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro.
Below we present the first images of the smartphone in question, as well as the technical specifications that have been released by the leaks so far.
This will be the general design of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S smartphone
For 2022, Xiaomi will bring a new range of Redmi Note smartphones with a more angular design, greater emphasis on cameras, and improvements in this precise department. In fact, even in the cheapest model, the Redmi Note 11S, we will have a new camera worth mentioning, according to leaks.
We also see that the fingerprint reader in this model will be present on the side (in the on/off button) and not integrated into the screen as in more advanced models. It will also have several design similarities with the current Redmi Note 10S, with the main differences present at the rear, more specifically in the camera module.

The main specifications of Redmi Note 11S
According to the aforementioned source, the Redmi Note 11S has the code name “honey” and the model number abbreviated as K7S. The global version will have the model number 2201117SG, which is the model that will later come to Europe as well.
So far we have seen leaks that point to a 108 MP camera for this phone, Samsung HM2 sensor, with Sony IMX355 8 MP secondary camera with ultra wide angle lens. It will also have a third camera of 2 MP, OV2A sensor for macro photography, as well as a fourth camera of 2 MP for depth information.
According to other reports, the phone will have an AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate at 90 Hz, as well as a 13 MP front camera and a mid/high-end MediaTek processor (Dimensity G95).
The phone will arrive in multiple color schemes.
We also have the indication of three memory schemes, namely: 6 GB + 64 GB; 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB of RAM and internal storage, respectively. We also have the indication of the presence of a battery with 5,000 mAh.
Finally, the presence of Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 interface based on Google’s Android 12 already installed is also noted. It now remains to know its official presentation date in order to confirm the characteristics advanced here.
In any case, once the manufacturer has already started disclosing teaser of the product, the official presentation should not be delayed, possibly in February.
