Apple: Upcoming Smartwatches May Not Include Latest Health Features

Apple fans were disappointed that the Watch Series 7 did not include some health features that rival brands already include in their models.

But now, new information suggests that Apple may have been left behind in the race and not include the latest health sensors in its upcoming smartwatch models.

Apple will work on new sensors to integrate into its smartwatch that add more health features. However, these same sensors will not be included in the next Watch Series models, leaving Apple a little behind in the race for innovation.

This is confirmed by journalist Mark Gurman, from the Bloomberg news agency, who advances that at least three crucial sensors that are already available in the market through other rival brands will not be included in the next generations of Apple’s smart watch.

The journalist refers more specifically to sensors to monitor blood sugar level, blood pressure and to measure body temperature. According to the same source, although the brand is working on these same sensors, it should still take some time to integrate them into the smartwatch model, quite possibly the next two generations will not integrate them.

Apple Watch Series 8 with advanced sleep monitoring system

Gurman also advances that, on the other hand, the Apple Watch Series 8 can include an advanced sleep monitoring system that even detects cases of night apnea.

However, we must view this information with caution, as there is still too much time left for the Cupertino company to launch the next model of its smartwatch and until then everything can change.

For now, there are also rumors that Apple could launch a more affordable version (i.e. SE) of its smartwatch, as well as a more robust sports version in the next generation Watch Series 8.

Other news reports that display maker BOE, Apple’s display provider, has made changes to its facilities to make larger OLED panels that could be integrated into the next generation of the iPad tablet.

Also according to this latest information, the screens would have a dimension of up to 15 inches and could include two layers of red, green and blue emission, which means that they could provide greater brightness.
