It was last Tuesday that Realme presented its new tops of the GT 2 line. The highlight goes to the Realme GT 2 Pro as the first device of the Chinese company with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and built with biodegradable materials.
It should be noted that this presentation took place in China, with the smartphone being temporarily available only in that market. However, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme International, has already confirmed the worldwide launch of Realme GT 2 Pro.
Realme GT 2 Pro to launch globally soon
In an interview with Android Authority, in the context of CES 2022, the executive confirmed that the next step will be a global presentation of the Realme GT 2 Pro. This announcement will be made at the event that will be held soon in Europe.
What Madhav Sheth did not mention was the date this event will take place, nor the location. This means that we will have to wait a little longer to find out specifically when the Realme GT 2 Pro will arrive in Europe.
This Realme GT 2 Pro is the most cousin never released by the young Chinese brand. It has the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 6.7-inch QHD + AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 12 GB of RAM.
At the rear it sports three photosensors, topped by a 50 MP lens, a similar wide angle lens with a 150º angle of view and a 3 MP microscope. It has a 5000 mAh battery that can be fully charged in just 33 minutes thanks to the 65 W charging speed.
The best of all is its fixed sale price from € 515. However, this is the set value for China and the set price for Europe is likely to be a bit higher. Still, it should be one of the cheapest tops on the market.
Realme will also present new tablets and laptops
In addition to confirming the international presentation of the Realme GT 2 Pro, Madhav Sheth announced that the brand is preparing the presentation of other products. Strictly speaking, we are waiting for the announcement of new Android tablets and Windows computers.
These products will be presented by the Chinese brand during 2022, which means that they may not be included in the next Realme event. Still, there is a guarantee that the stretcher is developing more products in addition to smartphones.
One last note to reinforce the brand’s commitment to supporting its smartphones. Madhav Sheth reiterated the goal of providing two years of Android updates and three years of security updates for his mobile devices.
