YouTube app will finally catch up with cars

YouTube, like other video apps, is not allowed on Android Auto for obvious reasons.

Until now, the application was also not available on Android Automotive, an operating system built into some vehicles that does not require a smartphone.

However, Google has just revealed that YouTube will be available in a version of the Android Automotive app.

The company did not provide many details about this app, nor did it share a release date, except that It will arrive later this year. We’ll probably have to wait for Google I/O in the summer.

The company says that the goal is to make waiting less tedious, Therefore, everything indicates that YouTube will only be available when the car is stopped.

The question that arises is whether we will also see YouTube on Android Auto, since, in principle, there is no reason to think that the application would not work in the same way.
