The well-known leaker Sudhanshu Albhore has published on his Twitter account images of the different models that are part of the new series of Galaxy Tab S8 tablets. Images show the standard S8 model, as well as the S8 + and S8 Ultra models.

But the highlight is concentrated in the fourth image, which shows a still unknown tablet and which, from what we can see, is called the SM-T270. Apparently, the mysterious tablet will not be part of the long-awaited S8 series and should position itself in the Mini equipment market segment because of the eight inches of its screen. More information suggests that it is also equipped with an Exynos 850 processor, proprietary of the South Korean brand.

For now, that is what is known about the unknown tablet, but future information leaks may reveal more crucial details of this tablet that is expected to be used by Samsung to revive the segment of more “portable” equipment.

Covid-19 Outbreak shuffles Samsung’s tablet launch schedule

The Galaxy Tab S8 is also known to be powered by a robust 11200 mAh battery with support for 45-watt fast charging. Finally, other information also advanced that the tablet will include support for the S Pen and even this will be magnetically attached to the equipment to facilitate its transport.

What is not yet known is the reveal and market launch date of the new Samsung tablet. According to some information leaks, the launch schedule of this model will have been affected by a delay in its production. According to the same sources, the cause of this delay will have been a Covid-19 outbreak at Samsung’s facilities.
