Garmin has just launched the Venu 2 Plus smartwatch which, thanks to all the built-in functions, may be your next digital assistant.
Make and receive calls, send text messages, and even allow voice interactions through the included voice assistant on your smartphone. Oh, and it also includes sports modes and health features, but that’s so 2021 …
Garmin Venu 2 Plus works with paired smartphone voice assistant
Garmin has just launched its new Venu 2 Plus smartwatch that brings with it a handful of features that go far beyond the usual sports modes and health functions, usually present in this type of equipment.
The new model of the brand allows the user not only to receive, but also to make phone calls, as well as send text messages. More: the user can interact with the smartwatch using its voice power, through the voice assistant of the paired smartphone.
This particular feature allows users to implement voice interaction and control compatible smart appliances. To make that happen, simply pair the Venu 2 Plus with your Siri-equipped smartphone, Xiao Ai, and more.
Garmin’s new smartwatch enables offline music playback and payments

But Garmin’s new smartwatch goes one step further and enables offline music playback, as well as offline payments, social media updates, news summaries, and calendar reminders. And with all these features, it can quickly become your digital assistant.
Other interactions can be made via the three buttons included on the right side of the model, while all information is displayed on the 1.3-inch AMOLED screen. In terms of autonomy, according to Garmin, the Venu 2 Plus can withstand nine consecutive days of moderate use.
And now health and sports resources

When it comes to health, Garmin Venu 2 Plus monitors your heart rate, breathing, quality of sleep, and blood oxygen level. It draws the user’s attention to their stress levels and also reminds them when to drink more water. As for women, control of menstruation or pregnancy is reserved, if that is the case.
For sports it is equipped with 25 modes, including swimming, walking, running, cycling, swimming in a pool, Pilates, yoga and even climbing.
In addition, it also comes with new safety features such as automatic accident detection, whether walking or cycling, as well as manually activated emergency assistance. These two functions, in the event of an accident, send text messages with the most exact geographical location possible to the emergency contact. The new Garmin Venu 2 Plus is now available for 449 euros on the brand’s Portuguese website.
