OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 10 Pro in China on January 11. But unlike other years, this premium smartphone must reveal itself. Rumors suggest that the OnePlus 10 will be unveiled at a later date.
OnePlus 10 may arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor
According to an exclusive from MySmartPrice, the Oppo sub-brand is working on a smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. And its source, the filter Yogesh Brar claims that this could be the OnePlus 10.
If confirmed, this will be a OnePlus decision that will disappoint many fans of the brand. This is because, over the years, these have gotten used to having the same processor in the base and Pro versions.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 was introduced in late 2021 and the manufacturer stated that smartphones with this processor would start hitting the market in February. It is built with a 4 nanometer process and has a maximum clock speed of 3.0 Ghz.
It’s good to note that, to date, OnePlus hasn’t revealed any details about the OnePlus 10. The brand has only touted the OnePlus 10 Pro, which will be released next week.
An important detail is that OnePlus announced in 2021 that it would launch smartphones with a unified operating system with Oppo. This means that OxygenOS, as we know it, will increasingly be absorbed by Oppo’s ColorOS.
Either way, you should look at this information on the OnePlus 10 with a pinch of salt. At the time of writing, there are no official reasons to confirm the terminal’s processor.
